The exams for the Microeconomics course are held exclusively in written form. The exam is divided into two parts: a Theory Section, consisting of multiple-choice questions, where students are required to identify the correct answer among the given options, and an Exercises Section, where students are asked to solve quantitative problems. Exams can be taken: a) In two partial exams. Each partial exam lasts 60 minutes. The exam under option (a) can only be taken during the two exam sessions specifically designated for the partial exams, one at the end of March and the other at the beginning of June; the exact dates and times of these sessions will be announced shortly. The exam is considered passed if the student obtains a grade of no less than 18 in both partial exams. The final grade is the arithmetic average of the two partial grades, rounded up. The grade of the first partial exam can be refused (see below for the procedure). Students who fail the first partial exam or refuse the grade will take the exam under option (b). b) In a single general exam covering the entire syllabus, lasting 90 minutes. The first general exam will be held in June; the dates for this and subsequent general exams until September will be announced as soon as possible. Online registration is required for every exam. Students who are not properly registered will not be admitted to the exam. As a precaution, and in case of any malfunction of the IT system, it is recommended to print the confirmation of successful exam registration. Grade refusal: students may refuse a grade within five days from the publication of the results by accessing the appropriate function in the online services. After this period, the grade is considered accepted by tacit consent, and it will no longer be possible to refuse it.
