Requirements: 

Basic knowledge on organization topics. Students are invited to study a preliminary suggested textbook to align themselves on the items!

Interest and curiosity on people management and ICT items.

Final Examination: 
Orale

In the winter sessions the exam will be written with also the opportunity to consider the scores gained through the exercises develop during the course.
In the other sessions the exam will be oral. In both cases is based on the textbook and the case histories proposed and discussed during the lessons.
The written exam will be composed by open questions (in the case of exam in presence) or close and opend questions (in the case of online exam).

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

This is an advanced course focused on two main aspects of Organization: people working in the enterprises and information and communication technologies.
The aim of the course is to equip students with tools that enable to design organizational and technological solutions for innovation in international enterprises with a socio-technical approach.

LEARNING RESULTS AWAITED
At the end of the course the student will be able to:
1. manage the impact of new technologies on human resources;
2. identify and develop key competencies in order to manage processes in an effective way considering the technological nowadays context;
3. understand that the effective human resource management is necessary to gain true competitive advantage in the marketplace, particularly underlying three challenges companies face nowadays, that are sustainability, technology and globalization;
4. discuss the issues that are changing the current role and the activities of HR function;
5. describe the ICT application framework, its impact on enterprise information systems and propose methodologies to design ICT architecture from a human resource oriented perspective.
6. join these two aspects under the project management perspective, as a method for organizing and realizing new technology-based HR systems.

The HRM organizational function: role, organizational structure, managing elements.

How to organize a project for developing HRM and IT complex systems
Technologies for innovating in the learning organization: collaboration as a need and virtual team.
Essentials of project management as methodology to organize and manage projects for innovation and changing based on technology and people.

Convenzionale

The course is very dynamic. The student has to be curious, participate at the classroom discussions & team working, prepare /read & study the material before the specific lesson when requested by the teachers.
Using some case history will be proposed team work to discuss and analyze the situation, identify solutions; between the lessons students are suggested to submit exercise that will be considered for the final evaluation.
