Final Examination:
Orale

The course assignment is an oral presentation, either in small groups or individually, on a topic covered in the lessons, to be delivered to the course lecturer and fellow students. The presentation requires a degree of research on the topic prior to its delivery but students will be assessed primarily on fluency, accuracy, register, etc. The assessment also includes the ability of students to answer the questions from the audience comprehensively and concisely.

Assessment:
Voto Finale

The course aims to improve students’ ability to understand and discuss financial, management, economics, and legal English. Students will widen the lexis and terminology used in finance and management through a wide range of texts and audiovisual material with the view to developing both receptive and productive skills in the context of economics.

The course assessment will be an oral presentation, hence, to achieve the required fluency, lessons are designed to enhance students’ vocabulary through articles, didactic texts, and videos that stimulate discussion and opinion-sharing. Therefore, student participation is a fundamental element of each lesson as a means to practise the linguistic features introduced as well as train the propensity to form and share views coherently and logically.

Convenzionale

Using authentic materials (business and financial texts), the course aims to raise students’ levels in the following areas: grammar, lexis, listening, speaking and summarising.
