DIAGNOSTIC TECHNIQUES OF LABORATORY MEDICINE
Basic knowledge of clinical chemistry, microbiology, immunology, genetics and fundamental skills in the analysis of biological samples and general laboratory techniques.
The assessment of learning will take place through a final exam, which will take place in oral form.
The objectives of this course are:
- provide students with the skills necessary to carry out the analysis of blood and non-blood samples in the immunohaematological and transfusion fields,
- contribute to preparing biomedical laboratory technicians able to manage with precision the diagnostic procedures aimed at ensuring transfusion safety;
- provide students with the basic knowledge of hematology and the theoretical-practical bases special techniques used in the diagnosis of the main forms of lymphomas and leukemias
