A solid foundation in Microeconomics and Macroeconomics is required.

The examination is structured in a written test consisting of exercises and open questions.

The aim of the course is to illustrate and discuss the foundations and articulation of public intervention in environmental and sustainability issues with a focus on the economic sphere.
Students will be provided with the theoretical tools to analyse and interpret these interventions. Examples will also be offered as part of the course to enable students to better understand the use of these tools.
The course aims to introduce and develop the essential methods and concepts of economic policy applied to the environment and sustainability through an approach involving theoretical knowledge of the proposed models and the ability to use the corresponding graphical formalisation.
