Contents learned in the courses of: Nursing
Methodology II, General Nursing I and General
Nursing II.
Evaluation takes place through an oral exam. The
overall evaluation of the integrated course will take
into account the participation / interaction that took
place in the activities proposed by the professors
throughout the semester, including any written tests
carried out during the course. The final grade will be
the result of a weighted average of the final
assessments of the two courses expressed out of
thirty.
At the end of the integrated course the student
would be able to:
1. integrate the contents provided in these two
courses with those already in his possession,
particularly with what learned in the courses of
Nursing Methodology II, General nursing I e II.
2. Deep the knowledge of topics and problems of
professional/clinical interest using the main
database, choosing the most reliable sources, to
find useful contents for nursing and health care.
3. Know the national and regional health policy
guidelines that affect those of ASST / ATS to better
fit into current and future care settings.
4.Use the skills learned to pursue the best possible
quality of care, according to available resources.
1. Research, nursing research, research metodology.
2. Nursing research
developement in Italy and abroad.
3. Nursing research in professional laws and research training levels.
4. The continuum of qualitative and quantitative research: types of
research mainly used in nursing.
5. The phases of the research process.
6. Types of Knowledge Synthesis: clarification on terminology and, in
particular, Literature Review, Scoping Review and Systematic Review.
7. Outline of the Evidence Based Practice methodology.
8. Critical appraisal of research articles.
9. Research results dissemination: posters, oral presentations and
suggestions for writing a scientific article.
Lectures and guided discussions of scientific articles. The educational
objectives and expected learning outcomes will be easily achieved with
active participation in the proposed activities (individual and in groups),
with the critical use of the textbook adopted, consulting the suggested in depth bibliography and reading the articles reported.
It will always be possible to request a talk, including individual ones, view
the exams and carry out target tutoring, arranging with the teacher.
