GENERAL OBSTETRICAL PEDAGOGY
For the study of the course topics, the general psychology knowledge
that the students have already acquired during the course of the first two
years of the degree course are useful.
The verification of learning will take place with a single exam at the end
of the lessons. The exam will be in oral form.
After a brief historical introduction, students will be guided to the
knowledge of the psychic life prenatal and oriented towards a correct way
to use the tool of communication, verbal and non-verbal, in order to
establish with pregnant women a correct helping relationship that aid
them to be adequate in parenting.
The course aims to provide students with a proper mode of relating with
the pregnant woman and help them implement a helping relationship
aimed at the support of labor and birth and maturation of parenting along
the course of pregnancy and postpartum.
