There are no scientific prerequisites other than those required for access to the course of study.
The exam is carried out orally.
An intermediate written test is provided, carried out halfway through the number of hours scheduled for teaching, with open-ended and closed-ended questions, with an evaluation expressed out of thirty. The marks obtained in the intermediate tests weigh half of the final mark for those modules.
The minimum evaluation of the writings to be able to access the oral exam is 18/30.
Will be evaluated:
the accuracy and completeness of the content of the answers
the degree of depth of the topic
ability to use appropriate terminology
Teaching is a fundamental cornerstone for building the skills of the future professional graduate in Midwifery as it aims to provide the student with:
application of basic obstetric care procedures;
implementation of the obstetric care process based on the use of Midwifery Management
know and apply the obstetric care process according to Midwifery Management, paying particular attention to the obstetric assessment phase;
describe and apply the basic obstetric care procedures;
apply the assistance procedures that are intended to ensure the safety of the user and operator in the care environment

The teaching will be delivered through lectures with the use of slides, images, diagrams and schemes.
Some videos will be shown to better understand some procedures.
The material presented is made available to students on the e-learning platform.
To promote self-assessment, tests with closed and open questions will be proposed which will not be assessed but which will be discussed and deepened in the classroom.
The practical exercises associated with the course aim to apply the theoretical notions acquired on basic obstetric care procedures in the field
