Requirements: 

There are no prerequisites, but knowledge of the issues addressed in the Banking Economics and Asset Management courses is useful.

The exam consists of an oral exam, which will also be assessed in the light of the in-depth activities carried out during the lessons.

The course provides elements of in-depth analysis and updating on the management activities of financial intermediaries, especially of a banking nature, highlighting topical issues of particular relevance on a strategic, organizational and regulatory level. The course is conducted by offering students practical teaching activities, based on case analyzes and on in-depth analysis of themes, also through seminars by operators and experts in the sector. At the end of the course the student must be able to know, understand and critically deal with the managerial and operational complexities of financial intermediaries in an interdisciplinary and applicative logic.

Analysis of profitability and value creation through the reading of financial and non-financial statements. Analysis of the main valuation issues, with particular reference to financial assets. Analysis of the valuation of the equity market of banks and financial intermediaries. The laboratory will address specific in-depth topics in each academic year, also derived from the research activities in progress in the reference SSD and also based on the presence of operators and experts in the sector.

The reference texts will be communicated on the e-learning platform at the beginning of the lessons.

Convenzionale

The course is based on interactive teaching that requires students to work in the classroom, who will be required to actively participate in the lessons and to develop some analysis and in-depth work.
