Knowledge of the forms of audiovisual language and development of the ability to analyse images, audiovisual materials, and filmic and non-filmic archive documents.
The course aims to provide basic knowledge of the lineaments of film and television history and an understanding of the possible forms of representation, documentation and valorisation of the landscape.
The course will alternate a historical path dedicated to the evolution of media, with particular reference to photography, cinema and television, with an analytical path dedicated to the forms of representation of the landscape. Case studies will develop the ability to understand how visual/audiovisual productions in national and international contexts contribute to shaping the imagery of a landscape and constitute an economic driver in an area.

1- Traditional lectures
2. Dedicated power points, especially for iconographic materials
