Neuroanatomy and neurophysiology
Oral exam
To provide knowledge of the neural functions and the neurobiological basis of the nervous system pathologies, as well as the methodological and technological aspects useful to their study.
Expected learning outcomes at the end of the teaching:
- Knowledge of nervous system morphology, as well as its connections and functioning.
- Knowledge of the main neurological disorders, to both central and peripheral nervous system.
1. Headache, trigeminal neuralgia’s, facial paresis 2. Back and neck pain 3. Disorders of consciousness: syncope, confusion and delirium, coma; seizures and epilepsy 5. Dizziness, gait and balance disorders, disorders of hearing 6. Weakness and paralysis 7. Numbness, Tingling, and Sensory loss 8. Disorders of vision and diplopia 9. Aphasia, memory loss and other focal cerebral disorders 10. Cerebrovascular diseases 11. Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias 12. Parkinson’s disease and Movement Disorders 13.
