It is recommended to have taken a basic security course.
The exam will consist of an essay in which the students are required to present a security issue together with some referenced possible solutions. Finally, the students will present the essay during the final oral exam.
The final vote, out of thirty, will be evaluated as it follows:
Quality and accuracy of the essay (40%)
Quality and accuracy of the responses during oral exam and ability to adequately justify statements, analysis and opinions (60%)
The course aims to introduce the methodologies for security risk management, presenting the main vulnerabilities to information system and related risk mitigation strategies.
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
* Understand the issues, techniques, and technologies for security and risk management
* know the various system vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies

The suggested material includes lectures slides, available through e-learning platform.
The course consists of 48 hours of lectures. The lessons aim at presenting both the theoretical and application aspects of security risk management.
