At the end of the course the student must be familiar with the most frequent infectious diseases related to the specific field of the course and on the epidemiology and prevention of health care associated infections

Infectious diseases transmission. Viral hepatitis: HAV, HBV, HCV, HDV, HEV. HIV infection: epidemiology, clinical manifestations, diagnosis and prevention. Infective endocarditis. Oral infections. Scabies and pediculosis. Health care associated infections. Occupational exposure risk, prevention rules and post-exposure prophylaxis.
