Provide students with a historical overview of the pedagogy of the 20th century. Provide theoretical bases of general psychology fundamental to professional practice. Stimulating the understanding of diversity in the light of a multi-ethnic society.

Pedagogical principles of thought of: Piaget, Montessori, Steiner, Illich, Skinner, Neil, Dewey, Gramsci and Makarenko.
General psychology: definition, models, methods and applications to professional practice. Personality: definition and fundamental components. Intelligence.
Historical framework of anthropology. Analysis of the following concepts in an anthropological perspective: culture, communication, sex, gender, family, religion, medicine.
