The written paper (type A) and the reports (types B and C) will be evaluated by a Commission of Department’s professors. The overall evaluation of the final exam is expressed in 110 points.
The overall evaluation is the result of the sum of the following elements:
- average of the votes weighted by the number of credits of the courses and rebased to 110;
- 0.33 points for each laude (added to the vote in 110);
- “Career Quickness Bonus” points, i.e., 3 extra points to be added to the final score based in 110, only for students that complete regularly the bachelor’s degree in the 3 years;
- “Excellent Students Bonus” point, i.e., 1 extra point to be added to the final score based in 110, only for the students that completed the “ad hoc” program “Seminars for Excellent Students” scheduled in years 2 and 3 of the bachelor’ degree.
The grade assigned to the final examination depends on the mode type chosen (Type A: 0 to 4 points; Types B and C: 0 to 2 points).
For more details, see the proper section in the CLEM’s web page.

The “laude” can be awarded by the Commission unanimously in consideration of the high quality of the thesis, in particular with regards to the mastery of the basic tools, the critical ability to apply the acquired knowledge and the whole student’s career.
The supervisor cannot require the “laude” if the average grade is less than 103 out of 110.

Assessment:
Giudizio Finale

The final exam plays the important role of verifying the individual learning ability, as well as being the completion of the whole cycle of studies, according to the bachelor’s degree objectives.
The student must develop a final paper (thesis) in order to demonstrate the achievement of the following objectives:
- sufficient autonomy in the preparation and paper writing
- completeness of the analysis carried out
- logical and expository clarity of the paper
- mastery of conceptual models
- problems’ critical analysis

The final exam corresponds to 3 CFU.
There are three alternative ways for the delivery of the final exam:
A) a written paper on a topic related to the chosen course of study, agreed with a supervisor. The student must demonstrate a good knowledge and comprehension of the tools and the basics and a sufficient critical ability to apply the knowledge acquired during the course of study;
B) a report of the internship activity carried out. The report summarizes the main duties performed during the internship, as well as host firm’s characteristics and main linkages between the internship and bachelor’s degree contents.
C) a report of the study experience abroad under the ERASMUS program. The report has to summarize the student’s experience and the related educational context in care of the host University.

The paper is delivered by the student in accordance with the procedures uploaded on the website https://www.uninsubria.it/la-didattica/bacheca-della-didattica > Esame di laurea.
