Basic knowledge of the italian language (written and spoken)

The course aims to give a general understanding on the geography, history, political institutions, language and culture of the D-A-CH Länder (Germany, Switzerland and Austria)
The course will be divided in two parts:
Part 1- Basic course
Modul A and B:
Modul A will focus on the geography, history, political institutions, language and culture of the D-A-CH Länder
Modul B will focus on the intercultural communication between German-speaking actors and Italians
Part 2 - Specific couse
Modul C
Modul C will focus on the history of migration to Germany in the last 65 years ca.. Literary texts by migrants and on migration in Germany will be analysed and discussed.

Traditional lectures and active participation of the students to the discussion in class
Students who will not attend lectures will have to take the same exam as attending students. There is no adjunctive bibliography.
Students who will not attend lectures can reach the lecturer via mail at any time for information on the course/exam.
