The exam consists in an oral exam aiming to define the knowledge and comprehension (20%), application skills of theory (25%), autonomous judgement (20%), communication skills (15%) and learning ability (20%). The mark is expressed in thirtieths.
At the end of the course the student will be able to know and understand the legal, deontological and ethical aspects of the profession, and apply them to clinical practice. The student will also acquire autonomous judgement and the terminology for communication in this field.
The frontal lessons are focused on the following topics:

10. Living organ and body organ transplants (with references to the criteria for the definition of brain death) (2h, educational objective 1)
11. Integrity in the scientific research and ethics of research (falsification, plagiarism, "bad scientific conduct") (1h, educational objective 1)
12. The concept of the proportionality of care (1h, educational objective 1)
13. Ethical issues on medically assisted fertilization (1h, educational objective 1)

The course consists in 30 hours of lectures. The lectures are supported by the projection of PPT slides. The minimum attendance frequency required is 75% of the program.
