In addition, the characteristics of such macromolecules and their reactivity have to be discussed. During the examination will also be required to discuss topics of general and organic chemistry such as chemical bonds, gas theory, thermodynamics, liquids and solids, solutions and their properties, reaction rates and major reactions, chemical equilibria, acids and bases, pH, Buffer solutions, electrochemicals and reactivity and properties of the various organic substituents and contextualize them in the main biological macromolecules.
