After completing classical studies, he graduated in law at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milan, and obtained a Master's degree (2010) and a PhD in tax law (2017) at the University of Milano-Bicocca. Later on, he worked as a research fellow first at the University of Florence (2018-20), then at the State University of Milan (2020-21). He has also been a lecturer at the University of Tuscia, Viterbo – academic year 2019/20 - and at the State University of Milan, Faculty of Political Science - a.y. 2021/22 - for the courses, respectively, of tax law and international and European tax law.
Former visiting researcher between 2013 and 2018 at the Max Planck Institute for Tax Law and Public Finance (Munich, Germany) and at the Institute for Austrian and International Tax Law (Vienna, Austria), conducting research on international and European tax law.
In 2022 he qualified as second-rank professor in tax law (Abilitazione Scientifica Nazionale) and started as researcher at the Law Faculty, Como branch of the Insubria University.
He has worked in practice – also with leading Italian and international law firms – dealing with tax law.
