Daniel Russo is an Assistant Professor of English Language and Linguistics at the University of Insubria. After obtaining his Bachelor's degree at Ca' Foscari University in Venice and his Master's degree at the University of Strasbourg, he was awarded a PhD in English Studies at the University of Milan. He has published many papers on the Italian translations of British authors between the 19th and 20th centuries and has translated Joseph Conrad's ‘Twixt Land and Sea for Einaudi and “The Odyssey” and “The Iliad” by Samuel Butler for Blackie Edizioni. His research focuses on Terminology, Corpus Linguistics, English for Specific/Special Purposes (ESP), Translation Studies, Translation Technology, and Speech and Language Processing (SLP).
